Three men charged with drunk driving in Connecticut

Connecticut authorities are often on the lookout for individuals they believe to be engaged in driving while intoxicated. Of course, just because someone is accused of drunk driving in our state doesn't mean they are guilty. Three men recently became accused of drunk driving charges in separate incidents that all took place in Greenwich. The first involved a 56-year-old man who police allege neglected to turn on his headlights while driving just after midnight in mid-June. An officer pulled the man over after supposedly witnessing him veering out of his own lane of traffic, while at the same time driving without the headlights on.

18-year-old Connecticut man accused of trafficking cocaine

An 18-year-old Connecticut man is facing drug charges stemming from an investigation conducted by police officials. The man has been accused of trafficking cocaine in front of a furniture store in Stratford. Reports had apparently been made to police officials that drug activity had been taking place in the area. This resulted in an undercover police officer supposedly engaging in a drug transaction with the 18-year-old man.

Connecticut man pleads guilty to sexual assault of jogger

While it may seem stressful for a Connecticut resident to go through a criminal investigation, fully researching the charges and potential sentences can often help an accused individual make more informed decisions. In some sexual assault cases, it may become appropriate to pursue a plea bargain with Connecticut prosecutors rather than allowing a judge or jury to rule on guilt or innocence. Making this decision will depend upon the facts of a specific case and a particular individual's own personal preferences.
